Ushering Out the Year of No

I thought about doing a year-end wrap-up post, a look back at what happened in 2012.

I could show you my vision board for 2012.
I could take you through it word by word and picture by picture.

Money to burn. HA!

Patience. I don't have it.

Fun. In short supply.

Love. Please.

Sex. Harumph.

Suffice it to say, 2012 was the Year of No.

It is my sincere wish that 2013 brings welcome change to my life (and yours too, if change is what you're after). I hope that the Year of No has led to the Year of Yes.

Happy New Year to you and yours! Here's to 2013 and a helluva lot of yes.

  1. Yesssss! I can't even tell you the amount of suckiness that 2012 possessed. I'm going with optimistic for now ... with a side order of hope :) Happy New Year Amy !

    1. Oh hell yes! I'm going for optimistic, too. I'm feeling hopeful for some weird reason. I hope you have a wonderful new year!

  2. The trick is to expect good things to happen. Feeling hopeful is a good start, though.

    1. Absolutely! I think my expectations took a beating in 2012. The real trick is to keep expecting good things even when nothing much happens. Or maybe the trick is to be grateful for nothing much happening?

Either way, I'm feeling relieved that 2012 is over. Now, if I can just get the damn Christmas tree taken down.
